Hi I am Deen Dayal - A Product Designer from India, with 1 year experience. I love crafting digital experiences that make people lives better.

I started my design journey back in high school with my first smartphone.
I used to edit photos of my friends, make banners, and experiment with photo manipulation. Honestly, I wasn’t very good — most of my work was just copied from others — but it made me genuinely happy.

Soon, I began freelancing in my city, creating banners and managing social media accounts for local politicians and restaurants. Later, I worked as a designer with a few local printing houses. I was improving, but something still felt off. My design taste wasn’t really evolving. Even though my work looked better, it lacked real potential because it was limited to local projects.

I wanted to explore beyond that. When I got into college, I chose BCA, thinking I’d try coding — but it turned out to be a bad fit. It just didn’t excite me. Design, on the other hand, always made me feel alive. That’s when I discovered UI/UX design, and the moment I learned about it, I knew this was exactly what I’d been looking for.

I don’t really have a very active social life. I have a few close friends, and I usually just hang out with them once in a while — which gives me plenty of time to explore different things I love doing.There are quite a few of them.

First would be photography — it gives me the power to capture my perspective of seeing this world. See my clicks →

Then comes poetry — I love writing (even though I think most of my poems are pretty rough). Whenever I don’t feel like talking or doing much, I just observe things and write about them.

And lastly, I love playing chess, and it’s something I play regularly.

I try to follow the idea shared by Dieter Rams that good design is not just about appearance, but about how it makes people feel and interact. It’s something I aspire to in my own work.

The list is really bigger but I can name a few people - And at least once in my lifetime I wanna talk to them directly on so many topics.
